Sean Corbett started his custom building/historic home restoration company in 2002. As a result he has built, renovated and restored many homes in the greater Richmond area from Windsor Farms to historic Church Hill.
20 years in the carpentry/general contracting field has allowed me to become aware of common areas of concern while inspecting homes for prospective buyers and sellers. And knowing how a home is built from the ground up is crucial in knowing how all of the homes major systems are supposed to operate properly. This experience plus an even keeled, easy to get along with personality is helping me to inform buyers on how to make an educated decision on the biggest purchase of their lives and how to plan for expected home maintenance. In addition to serving home buyers I also highly recommend and provide pre-listing home inspections for those preparing to put their home on the market. Because this may help better prepare the home for sale by locating and correcting potential problem areas before the 11th hour of the transaction. As a result, this will help to lower stress levels of the buyers, sellers and agents involved.
